At Gutierrez Family Farms we graze our ewes and lambs year-round on our small farm in Nampa, Idaho. Livestock graze rotationally livestock through spring and summer months and preserve our winter hay fields to provide year-round grazing. Our alfalfa grass hay fields provide another source of feed and we use the same rotational grazing method as we do in the growing period, just modified depending on the snowpack. Lambs and calves simply graze on grass and their wholesome mother’s milk.
If you’re looking for beef, we sell beef cuts, in addition to chicken eggs and hay. We welcome Farm Tours by appointment, especially during lambing season.
You’ll find Gutierrez Family Farms’ grass-fed lamb and beef at local restaurants. Be sure to visit our onsite Farm Store open on Friday and Saturday’s from noon to 4 pm.
