Independent Meat Co. has been selling and processing meat since 1904. Our company is family owned and the fourth generation is now part of our amazing management team.We employ over 200 hard-working thoughtful employees, in addition to our partnership with several multiple generation Family Farms, further supporting small family-owned businesses throughout the Intermountain West.

We service accounts with both retail and foodservice products throughout the United States and export pork to many countries around the world. Our brands include Falls Brand and Salmon Creek Farms Natural Pork and all products are manufactured at our plants in Twin Falls, Idaho under USDA Inspection.

Falls Brand products have been a staple at family tables, sports arenas, and holiday celebrations for over 100 years. We regularly add new products and flavor profiles for our customers to enjoy. Falls Brand products, including hot dogs, hams, bacon, sausages, and more can be found in most Idaho grocery stores and specialty meat shops.

The Salmon Creek Farms Natural Pork model was conceived over 20 years ago. We have a unique production model that creates sustainable food that engages family farms, a single processor and select distributors in a transparent, USDA Process Verified & 100% traceable pork production system. The process is 3rd Party Audited and measurable, resulting in consistent, high quality product with great eye-appeal.

The certified sustainable program addresses the environment, the people and the animals. It establishes sustainability standards and goals. The program is continually improved through sharing ideas, adapting to the ever changing market and through outside vendor audits that identify areas of improvement in enhanced humane animal handling and food safety. Hog farmers receive bonuses for raising consistent, highly marbled and juicy pork – just another way we can raise the bar on quality!
