Date(s) - April 24, 2017
4:00 pm-7:00 pm
At the request of our members, Idaho Preferred is hosting a Farmer Chef Collaborative on Monday, April 24th at the Idaho State Department of Agriculture conference center. This event is a cross between a trade show and speed dating – giving producers a chance to meet with chefs one-on-one in an easy, informal setting. The event will begin at 4:00 pm on Monday, April 24 and conclude by 7:00 pm. Vendors will be provided with a small table to display product, pictures, etc. Vendors will be expected to provide sales sheets, business cards, and any product and disposables needed for sampling. When chefs arrive, we will have a short intro to the event, then each chef will start at a different vendor, and at the ring of a bell, move to the next vendor until they have talked with each displayer. This event is taking place as part of the Idaho Chef d’Cuisine regular monthly meeting so we should have great participation by local chefs.
If you are, or want to, sell to restaurants, this event is a great opportunity to meet Treasure Valley chefs and let them know about your products! Participation in this event is free for Idaho Preferred members ($25 for non-members) – but space is limited – so spaces will be assigned on first come first serve basis. If you want to participate, send your name, contact information and product(s) you will be presenting to Leah Clark at Idaho Preferred firstname.lastname@example.org. Spaces are filling fast, so drop Leah a note at your earliest convenience. Registration will close when space is full, or April 17th.
We look forward to seeing you on Monday, April 24th from 4-7 pm at the Idaho Preferred Farmer Chef Collaborative at the Idaho State Department of Agriculture conference center, 2270 Old Penitentiary Rd., Boise.
