Community Event: Eagle Country Christmas

If you’re wanting to do something festive this weekend, look no further than The City of Eagle’s Eagle Country Christmas.
This annual holiday event takes place Saturday from 1-6 p.m. in downtown Eagle by Heritage Park.
There will be free craft-making and other activities for kids in heated tents, photos with Santa, horse-drawn carriage rides through downtown, a holiday market, and live music from bands and local children’s choirs. Eagle’s vintage fire truck from 1927 will also be there to “Stuff the Truck” with donations of coats, socks, and underwear that will go to the Boise Rescue Mission.
To close out the event, there will be a tree lighting ceremony at 5:30 p.m. in Heritage Park.
