Living on the Land: Making the Most of Your Small Acreage

“Living on the Land” is a 12-week course designed to support new small acreage property owners or those dreaming of future ownership. This unique series has been helping small acreage owners in Idaho make the most of their properties for over 20 years. In this course participants dive deep into topics essential for successful and sustainable land stewardship, including soil fertility, water quality, water rights, pasture management, animal husbandry, pest management, and much more. The cost of registration includes attendance for two individuals, hard copies of all course materials and resources, a soil test, and a water quality test. Once completed, participants will have the knowledge and skills to successfully steward their property.
The $240 registration fee covers attendance for 2 individuals plus hard copies of all course materials and resources, a soil test, and a water quality test. Course topics include soil fertility, water quality, water rights, pasture management, animal husbandry, pest management, and much more.
