About the event

Welcome from the Panhandle Farm Corridor, a network of vibrant local farms in North Idaho. Interact with your local farmers and ranchers during the height of their season and taste the difference of locally grown!

Farm Tour Schedule:

8:30 a.m. Red Canoe Farm

The tour kicks off at Red Canoe Farm, a family blueberry farm. Enjoy in-season blueberries while learning to identify your favorite variety! Plus, sample farmer Lisa’s famous blueberry scones.

10:00 a.m. Lazy JM Ranch

Our second stop is at a multi-generation regenerative ranch in Hauser. This ranch tour will demonstrate the power of regenerative agriculture. From the small but mighty honey bee to the fully-pasture-raised cattle, you’ll discover how their regenerative practices nurture the land and our health.

12:00 p.m. Sowing Joy Farm (& Farm-to-Table Lunch)

Our third stop is at Sowing Joy Farm’s Post Falls flower farm dedicated to organically grown heirloom flowers. Learn about the art of flower cultivation, from seed to bloom. Immerse yourself in beautiful blooms during the tour. Experience the true essence of farm-to-table in a cozy, rustic setting with a hearty lunch prepared with locally sourced ingredients exclusively provided by members of the Panhandle Farm Corridor. Sample the in-season refreshments at the blueberry, lavender, and strawberry lemonade bar.

2:00 p.m. Cable Creek Farm

Our last stop will be at Cable Creek Farm, a North Idaho holiday tradition. Tour a working Christmas tree farm and learn about the trees that make our holidays special.

3:00 p.m. Return to Red Canoe

The tour concludes back at Red Canoe. Participants are welcome to enjoy their vast U-Pick farm, as several varieties are in season! Depart with a deeper appreciation for the local food culture and the connection between farmers, artisans, and our community.
