Certified Naturally Grown

Certified Naturally Grown (CNG) provides peer-review certification for farmers and beekeepers who produce food, flowers, and fiber for their local communities, working in harmony with nature without the use of synthetic chemicals or GMOs.

CNG’s standards are rooted in the highest principles of the organic movement. The approach emphasizes transparency, direct relationships, and a strong belief in the value of collaborative efforts to create something uniquely meaningful.

The organization’s mission is to support its members by promoting sustainable agriculture through peer-review certification, grassroots networking, and advocacy. CNG celebrated its 20th anniversary in the fall of 2022.

Farmers considering CNG certification can expect to feel a sense of ownership and pride in continuing the work of sustaining and expanding this grassroots initiative.
