High Desert Milk

High Desert Milk, established in 2001 in Burley, Idaho, is a cooperative of six third-generation dairy farmers dedicated to producing premium dairy products. The cooperative was founded with the mission of creating a stable market for their milk while delivering high-quality dairy goods.

In 2008, High Desert Milk opened a state-of-the-art facility specializing in Non-Fat Dry Milk and Skim Milk Powder. A commitment to growth and diversification led to the addition of Grade AA butter products and Buttermilk powder in 2013. In 2020, the cooperative expanded further with the installation of a second dryer, enabling the production of MPC70, a high-protein milk powder that won 1st place in the U.S. Championship Cheese Contest in 2023. Their Non-Fat Dry Milk also achieved first place in the same contest in 2024. Continuing to innovate, High Desert Milk recently expanded into cream cheese production, further diversifying its product line.
