Real Organic Project

The Real Organic Project is a farmer-led initiative designed to differentiate soil-grown and pasture-raised products within the USDA organic certification. In response to the insufficient enforcement of key USDA Organic standards that protect soil health and animal welfare, organic farmers united to preserve the integrity of the organic label. At its core, organic farming has always focused on the principle of “feeding the soil, not the plant.”
