Idaho’s long growing season means herbs are available spring, summer and fall. Production can continue through winter months with the use of green houses. Dried herbs usually consist of aromatic leaves used for food flavoring and aroma purposes. Culinary herbs may be sold as live plants, fresh or in dried form. Many of our fresh herb producers offer a form of dried herbs.
