Ripple Ranch Idaho

Rippling Out Kindness Love and Gratitude to The World

13999 Hwy 21 Boise, ID 83716 United States,

Raised in Idaho, Marc and his wife share a deep passion for homesteading and land stewardship. Since moving onto their ranch in 2021, they have continued to thoughtfully expand and care for the property, working to preserve and enhance the natural beauty of their small paradise. Two creeks run through the land for most of the year, contributing to the serene and vibrant environment.

Located just outside downtown Boise, the property is a peaceful oasis that draws people from near and far. Visitors are often eager to experience the spirit of the valley—whether they are purchasing raw milk, welcoming a baby goat, enjoying a horseback ride, or simply stopping by to say hello.

To help support the ranch, they host small, intimate weddings while remaining grounded in their primary focus: healthy living, outdoor recreation, and a strong farm-to-table philosophy. Their experience with pack goats and horses allows them access to Idaho’s backcountry, where fishing and hunting help provide nourishment for their family.

Marc also operates two additional businesses. One, PackGoats.com, serves the global pack goat community through equipment and education. His second business, Top End Adventures, offers hunting and adventure consulting services.

The ranch’s raw milk micro-dairy has been a true blessing, and their passion for raw goat milk is evident to everyone they meet. In addition to dairy offerings, they raise and sell pack goat prospects and offer horseback riding lessons on a limited basis.

Above all, they are committed to preserving the spirit of this beautiful valley while fostering strong relationships with their community and neighbors.

The property and goat care:The goats are grazed on our mountain, with the natural browse and graze the deer and elk are eating. On our lower pastures, we use a no til method, and overseeding practice, using chickory, turnip, alfalfa to replenish the soil, and only fertilized with compost from the animals. No broad spraying of noxious weeds. Only spot spray the real devils (NOT glyphosphate) and pasture grazing rotation to reduce parasite load in the animals.During milking, our does are fed a local grain mix -from The Mill in Meridian. The milking does are fed alfalfa when the pastures are at rest.Processing:We use a milking machine and it is cleaned daily. The key to the delicious milk to to obviously be sanitary, but the cooling process is key. We have that nailed down. We have our milk tested at Udder Health in Meridian for both the health of the doe and the processing-stellar.ISDA Raw Milk Permit #RMP 222
