Steele Legacy Honey
For three generations the bees have been our providers and teachers giving us a wonderfully sweet life.
The legacy of Steele Bees and Honey began in 1939 on Hill Road in Boise, Idaho, where Walter and Lillie Steele taught their twelve children the values of hard work, farming, and beekeeping. The Steele brothers started by catching swarms and cultivating their own hives, gradually building a honey and bee business. Over 35 years ago, they expanded to pollinate orchards and sell honey in local stores.
Today, the Steele family’s passion for bees and dedication to hard work continues across generations. Steele Legacy Honey carries forward this tradition, celebrating a love for bees, honey, and craftsmanship.
The company currently offers local raw honey, beeswax, a variety of bee-related products, and curated gift boxes. They also provide unique experiences through seasonal hive tours and educational bee presentations, engaging groups of all ages in the fascinating world of bees.
We are so happy to carry on my Steele family traditions. It truly is the best life and we can’t wait to share it with our kids and all of you!
