Classic Meatloaf

• 2 lbs. ground beef
• 1/2 lb. ground pork
• 1large white onion, finely diced
• 1 cup diced celery
• 2/3 teas. black pepper
• 1 large green pepper
• 11/2 teas. salt
•2 eggs
• 1 can tomato sauce
• 2 teas. Worcestershire sauce
• 4 slices toasted bread (crumbled)
• 2 teas. oil
• Dash of garlic salt
• Milk: Enough to mold into a loaf.

Steps
Preheat your oven to 375°.
In a large bowl, combine the ground beef and ground pork.
Add the finely diced white onion and diced celery to the bowl.
Sprinkle black pepper and salt into the mixture.
Chop the large green pepper into small pieces and add it to the bowl.
Crack the eggs into a separate bowl, whisk them, and then pour them into the meat mixture.
Add the tomato sauce and Worcestershire sauce to the bowl.
Crumble the toasted bread slices and mix them into the meat mixture.
Drizzle in the oil and add a dash of garlic salt.
Mix all the ingredients together until well combined.
Shape the mixture into a loaf shape.
Place the meatloaf in a baking dish.
Bake for 1 to 1 1/2 hours at 375°.
Once cooked, remove from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes.
Slice and serve.
