Franz Witte Beginner’s Bonsai Workshop

Bonsai is said to be one of the oldest horticultural pursuits. Join Jon White, member of the Boise Bonsai Society and owner of High Desert Bonsai, as he teaches a beginner’s bonsai class. You will leave with your own bonsai tree planted in custom potting soil, and specialty bonsai snips to maintain your masterpiece. Learn the technique of this garden art form as you trim your bonsai to its first shape.

These classes will be held quarterly, allowing newcomers to start a bonsai and give those that have already taken the course to return (a $5.00 reservation fee) with their trees to get some suggestions on what to do next with their tree.
