Food Dudes, also known as Idaho Ancient Grains, is a family-run farm dedicated to growing and sharing wholesome, locally produced food. Nathan, a lifelong farmer born and raised in Idaho, brings decades of experience to the fields, while Jamie, with her green thumb and deep love for gardening, nurtures the land with care. Together, they have built a thriving farm and raised four Food Dudes of their own, passing on a passion for sustainable agriculture and healthy living.

They specialize in ancient grains such as spelt, khorasan, and hard white wheat, along with nutrient-rich seeds like sunflowers and peas. These grains connect people to the past while offering wholesome, high-quality ingredients for today’s kitchens. Beyond grains, they grow a wide variety of fresh produce including sweet corn, tomatoes, peppers, onions, zucchini, summer and winter squash, pumpkins, peas, beans, and beets. For fruits they cannot grow in Southeast Idaho, such as peaches, pears, and melons, they source from trusted growers in Boise and Twin Falls.

They are committed to sustainable and regenerative farming practices that prioritize soil health and environmental stewardship. By using compost, crop rotation, and cover crops, they naturally enrich and strengthen the soil, ensuring it remains vibrant and free from chemicals.

From late June through Halloween, they welcome visitors to their seasonal fruit and vegetable stand, where they offer produce, ancient grains and flour, honey, and other locally sourced items. They also participate in local farmers markets, including Teton Valley, Rexburg, and Idaho Falls. For those who want fresh, seasonal food delivered directly to their table, they offer a CSA program that provides fruits, vegetables, grains, meats, and honey throughout the growing season.

Whether customers stop by the stand, join the CSA, or shop online, they will experience the difference that comes from locally grown, lovingly cultivated food. Their mission is simple: to connect the community with nourishing food and support a resilient regional food system.
