Koehn Trout Farms is a locally grown, family-owned operation dedicated to producing the highest quality, best-tasting trout on the market. From egg to harvest, the trout are raised in free-flowing spring water and fed high-quality, locally made feed without antibiotics. By prioritizing low-stress farming practices, the need for medicated feed or other treatments is completely eliminated.
To ensure peak freshness and flavor, fish are harvested in small batches and immediately placed in ice water. They are then carefully dressed, returned to a chill tank, and once fully chilled, hand-filleted and packed on ice. In most cases, the trout reach customers the very next day.
In addition to fresh fillets, Koehn Trout Farms offers a selection of fully cooked, ready-to-eat smoked trout.
