Ingredients

Ingredients:

• 2 lbs. ground beef

• 1/2 lb. ground pork

• 1large white onion, finely diced

• 1 cup diced celery

• 2/3 teas. black pepper

• 1 large green pepper

• 11/2 teas. salt

•2 eggs

• 1 can tomato sauce

• 2 teas. Worcestershire sauce

• 4 slices toasted bread (crumbled)

• 2 teas. oil

• Dash of garlic salt

• Milk: Enough to mold into a loaf.

Steps

  • Preheat your oven to 375°.

  • In a large bowl, combine the ground beef and ground pork.

  • Add the finely diced white onion and diced celery to the bowl.

  • Sprinkle black pepper and salt into the mixture.

  • Chop the large green pepper into small pieces and add it to the bowl.

  • Crack the eggs into a separate bowl, whisk them, and then pour them into the meat mixture.

  • Add the tomato sauce and Worcestershire sauce to the bowl.

  • Crumble the toasted bread slices and mix them into the meat mixture.

  • Drizzle in the oil and add a dash of garlic salt.

  • Mix all the ingredients together until well combined.

  • Shape the mixture into a loaf shape.

  • Place the meatloaf in a baking dish.

  • Bake for 1 to 1 1/2 hours at 375°.

  • Once cooked, remove from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes.

  • Slice and serve.
