- 1 cup blackberries
- 1/2 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 4 cups water
- Ice cubes
- Lemon slices, mint sprigs, and extra blackberries for garnish (optional)
In a blender or food processor, puree the blackberries until smooth.
In a large pitcher, combine the blackberry puree, lemon juice, sugar, and water. Stir until the sugar has dissolved.
Taste the lemonade and adjust the sweetness as desired by adding more sugar or lemon juice.
Add ice cubes to the pitcher or to individual glasses.
Serve the blackberry lemonade with lemon slices and extra blackberries and a sprig of Idaho mint for garnish, if desired.
