- 8 chicken legs
- 2 large red onions, sliced
- 4 ripe pears, cored and sliced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Preheat the oven to 375°F.
In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, balsamic vinegar, honey, minced garlic, dried thyme, salt, and pepper.
Arrange the chicken legs in a single layer in a large baking dish.
Pour the olive oil mixture over the chicken, using your hands to coat each piece evenly.
Add the sliced red onions and sliced pears to the baking dish, arranging them around the chicken.
Bake for 45-50 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the pears and onions are tender.
Remove the baking dish from the oven and let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before serving.
