Our Story

At Oma & Popie’s, we believe flavor has no boundaries—and neither should love, adventure, or second chances.
Our story began not in a boardroom, but in a small kitchen with big dreams. After years of chasing careers and raising families, Jan and Gail Zarr returned to their Idaho roots—not to slow down, but to start something bold. What began as one wing sauce quickly became a full line of artisan sauces and spice blends that reflect their belief in living life fully, flavorfully, and without compromise.

We believe food should bring people together, whether around a campfire, a kitchen table, or a tailgate. That’s why every jar, every bottle, every blend is handcrafted with clean, real ingredients and a punch of personality. No shortcuts. No preservatives. Just bold, swicy flavor and a whole lot of heart.

Because at Oma & Popie’s, we don’t just sell sauce, spice blends and beef Jerky —we stir up joy, ignite memories, and season life’s best moments.

Our grandkids inspired the name Oma & Popie’s, and we’ve enjoyed coming up with creative recipes for our seasoning sauces and spice blends with them here in Idaho.
